Story

Earlier this year, Chris lost his battle with cancer after an extremely courageous fight. Those who knew Chris, remember him as inspirational, positive and giving human being. Even during his illness he undertook some physical challenges to raise money for cancer charities and now in his memory - we are doing the same.

I am walking the 100km Thames Path Challenge this September to raise money for St Catherine's Hospice, who looked after Chris in his last days.

The work that St Catherine's do is amazing and I know that the money raise will make a huge difference to those who are being cared for their and their families.

Any donation will be really gratefully received and will keep me motivated as I train and undertake this mammoth challenge.

Last big walk before the 100km next weekend. Bit wet out but the views are always amazing. Final push this week on the fundraising efforts too - if you've not donated as yet and are able to, I massively appreciated any support you can give for this amazing charity ❤️

Ramping up the miles this weekend! Only a fortnight to go until my 100km (60 miles) walk in memory of an extraordinary man - Chris Budd. Your donations are really keeping me going in training and will do over the course of the 100km itself. Please donate it you are able ❤️🙏🏻

There's under a month to go now until my 100km challenge and I'm ramping up the miles in training. Thank you so much to all of you who have so generously sponsored me so far, almost £1000 raised for St Catherine's Hospice which is amazing. I really appreciate your support! x

Wow! I've been overwhelmed by the support and generosity you've shown already and have upped my target as we have hit the initial £500 I was hoping to get to within a short space of time - thank you so much! It really is amazing to be surrounded by so many huge-hearted people. It really will make a big difference to St Catherine's Hospice. Thank you. ❤️
